Liar liar pants on fire!

So I lied! I said I would post pictures of my Luichiny's yesterday but I didn't. To make up for it I'm posting them now and giving you advice on shoes!

Aren't the lovely!

If you're out shopping for some summer shoes the wedge heels are in! Benefit of the wedge is it's much easier to walk in than stilettos but the down fall is it's easy to topple over and twist your ankle. Now if you're a beginner wedger I would stick with a wedge no taller than a 3 inch heel. Also the bigger the platform the better. My Luichiny's are 5 inches with a 1 3/4 inch platform and they are a little straining even for the avid heel wearer like myself. But would I trade them, absolutely NOT! I love them so much I want to get a second pair of wedges!

These are the ones I have picked out so far. This summers trend is not to fear the bright colors! Also your shoes are an accessory.. Have fun with it! I've been spending hours looking at countless shoes and websites trying to find the best price. My boyfriend just shakes his head every time he sees me haunched over the writing on my handy computer-side notepad! I'm trying to keep my total cost about or below $50. I got my Luichiny's half price so it does make a difference!

Babies and Oranges

Hey chick-a-dees!

My cousin just had her baby! I'm so happy for her.. I have been at the hospital the majority of the day but I could not get enough of that baby! So stinking cute :)

But back to fashion..

Recently I've been obsessed with the bright and neon colors.. they are EVERYWHERE! But today I'm going to touch on the coral/orange color focusing on the orange lips.. I bought the Revlon color Siren thinking it would be a more of a pigmented neon orange.. but its more of a redish-orange color. Its still a beautiful color. I would recommend that you exfoliate your lips with a soft toothbrush first, cover your lips with your foundation, pat on some translucent powder, line your lips, and finally apply the lipstick. I have not found a good linner for the orange yet so I just keep an eye on mine to make sure it doesn't slid of my lips! Overall a very cute sassy color. More colors to come!

P.s. I got my Luichiny wedges in the mail today! The ups man was walking in as I was walking out for the hospital.. I nearly tackled him and put them on ASAP! I gave them a test run at the hospital.. pictures TOMORROW!!

This blog will not only help the fashionistas but also will target people who may be scared to death by fashion. This blog will take you from the bland to adding a few spices or to letting your true habanero pepper come out! I'm going to cover all aspects of fashion. From your head to your toes! I hope yall all enjoy!
